Canadian Environmental Law Rebrand

Equity, Justice & Health

The Canadian Environmental Law Association (CELA), established in 1970, advocates for environmental law reforms affecting human health. CELA asked me to rebrand their organization. The new visual identity embeds the acronym in four icons symbolizing a broad focus on environmental issues, meeting CELA’s primary objective to clarify their mandate. The focus on environmental impacts on human health brought forth in the tagline I suggested: “Equity. Justice. Health.”CELA’s identity is articulated in an extensive Brand Identity Guidelines document covering a full range of print and digital applications, including French applications, for this bilingual national organization. Branding was extended to stationery design and a series of document templates.
